North Coast Rocketry is proud to release the Vektra, our interpretation of a future air-to-air missile.
The Vektra is designed to be an easy to assemble kit that flies to spectacular altitudes. The design is capable of flying to altitudes over 2,300 feet on an Aerotech G80 motor.
The kit feature laser cut plywood fins, colorful detailed self-adhesive decals, a laser cut slotted body tubes, plywood centering rings, an easy-to-finish plastic nose cones, and the heavy duty GorillaTM shock cord system.
The Vektra also includes the NCR Quick Link that makes untangling the shock cord after each flight much easier!
The kit is 2.64" in diameter, 37" long, and weighs 19.5 ounces. Suggested motors are E16-4, F15-4, F25-6W, F50-6T, F50-9T G40-10W, and G80-10T.
This kit does not include a 36” nylon parachute; that can be ordered separately from North Coast Rocketry.
This is a flying model rocket kit that requires assembly. It is intended for experienced model rocketeers only. Glue and finishing supplies, engines, and a launch system are NOT included. Those items may be purchased online or at your local hobby/crafts store.
